Cruiser
Serving as the Empire's cargo and patrol vessel, the Cruiser awaits its replacement, which is currently in prototype stage of development. The Cruiser is based on the K't'inga-class Klingon Battle Cruiser (developed under a brief alliance between the two powers in 2268). What sets the Romulan Cruiser apart from its Klingon twin is its higher energy output due to the installation of the more efficient Romulan drive system and more effective Romulan cloaking device. The Cruiser has also been refitted with a simultaneous-launching plasma torpedo weapon.
